I am Peter Okiokpa, a passionate advocate and Developer Relations (DevRel) professional committed to advancing Robotics and Artificial Intelligence (AI) Engineering across Nigeria and Africa through education, community engagement, and innovation. My mission is to make robotics and AI accessible to developers and enthusiasts by fostering vibrant tech communities, creating impactful content, and empowering the next generation of innovators.

To address challenges in Africa’s robotics and AI ecosystem, I founded Roemai—an initiative dedicated to bridging the gap in Robotics, Embedded Systems, and AI through education, empowerment, innovation and product development. Roemai provides hands-on training and resources to privileged and underprivileged children, youth, and enthusiasts, laying the foundation for a skilled and innovative African workforce.

Beyond Roemai, I tutor and co-manage at Softmatic Academy, where we provide practical training in coding, robotics, and AI to empower future tech enthusiasts. To further my vision of purpose-driven living, I founded Purpose Nuggets, a platform that offers resources and insights on self-discovery and purposeful living. Purpose Nuggets is my way of inspiring people to live meaningfully and contribute positively to society.

With a strong foundation in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, experience in media and communication, and a commercially minded approach to innovation, I am actively building a career as a Robotics and AI Engineer and Developer Advocate. I combine technical expertise with business insight to create impactful solutions, foster thriving communities, and drive meaningful change in the global tech ecosystem.
